Receipe
There is a dish made from potatoes and Masala Vada (Vari Phael). Spices gives a wonderful aroma and color to the curry. Lets have a look towards recipe :
Step 1: Heat oil in a pressure cooker, fry greeen gram nuggets and set aside
Step 2: Add asafoetida and cumin seeds in remaining oil,when cumin seeds crackles add kasoori methi and garlic. Mix well
Step 3: Saute onion for a minute till become soften. Add fried gram nuggets (vadi) into the onion mixture and stir for about 5 minutes
Step 4: Combined potatoes, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ashmiri red chilli powder and salt as per taste using 4-5 cups of water
Step 5: Cover the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles atleast. Take off the cooker lid and sprinkle coriander leaves over the aloo wadi. Serve warm
